Adventure Island Ugljan (Avantura Otok Ugljan) is mobile application which serves as a travel guide for Island Ugljan visitors. It provides all of the information that one might need in that area. It is developed by Up Studio Ltd. in collaboration with municipality of Preko, Tourist board of Preko and Tourist board of Ugljan.

Application is developed under project “Avantura otok – Insula ager visitatio”. This project is designed to edit and mark olive and cycling paths, also to create a new bicycle map and mobile application. In the project we combine sustainable development and tourism, because it involves - the planning of the roads and resting places that will serve the development of cycling tourism, and it will be also used by our locals to reach their olive groves easier, this will also help revitalize neglected olive groves and facilitate the cultivation of existing ones. Insula ager visitatio is just one phase of a larger project "Adventure Island", which in the future intends to present our island as a destination for sports and recreational tourism with rich cultural heritage. "Adventure Island" promotes the rural part of the island of Ugljan. The aim is to present the advantages of the central part of the island, which has many attractions that have so far been unknown or unavailable.

Olive Island
Ugljan is one of the most picturesque islands in the Zadar archipelago. It lies opposite to Zadar from which is divided only by the few nautical miles of the Zadar Channel. The surface of this eternally green island is covered by olive groves, idyllic coves and colorful fishing ports. Ugljan has been tied to the sea, seafaring and fishing for generations. More than two thousand years of traditional olive processing has left thousands of olive trees that offer oil of exceptional quality and aroma. Fishing and tourist destinations extend along the eastern side of the island, among which the most well-known are Preko, Kukljica, Kali and Ugljan. The other side of the island is mainly uninhabited and steep. Thanks to its coves, surrounding islands and a rich maritime underworld, Ugljan is real challenge for diving and game fishing. The wavy high plains of the inland are covered with around ten kilometers of trekking and biking trails, leaving an unforgettable picture of colors, odors and panorama to all passers-by. Most of the inhabitants of the island, around 7,500, deal mainly with olive growing, fishing and of course, tourism. The mild Mediterranean climate, the blue sea, rocky and sandy beaches, tens of islands and islets in the proximity and memories of times gone by make the fertile island of Ugljan even more desirable for sea and island lovers.
